They’re a divisive topic.
Cliffhangers – some people love them and can’t wait to read the next book. Others hate them and feel cheated.
I even have one friend who won’t read the first two books in a trilogy until the third one is published because he gets so annoyed at waiting to see how cliffhangers are resolved.
So this is a confession – A House Divided ends on a cliffhanger.
I’m not going to tell you what it is – spoilers, sweetie. But the people who’ve read it and left reviews on Amazon and Goodreads are loving that cliffhanger.
One reviewer said, ‘The book ends on a cliffhanger, can’t wait to read the next book!!’. Another said, ‘OMG I devoured this book in one sitting and can’t believe I have to wait until October to read the next one.’
So the good news is that people aren’t annoyed that I’ve left them hanging. And the even better news is that Divide and Rule is out now, so if you’ve been desperate to find out what happens next, you can.
