I’m building my advance reader team.
What’s an advance reader team, I hear you ask?
Put simply, it’s a team of people who get an early copy of the next book before it’s released, and then write a review of it on Amazon (and GoodReads too sometimes).
Team members get three things:
- A free book
- A chance to help the book reach more readers through their review
- My eternal gratitude (but not cake, just yet).
And of course the book benefits too.
It’s said that people buy a book because of three things:
- The cover
- The blurb
The best type of recommendation is word of mouth – I don’t know about you, but some of my favourite books are ones that landed in my lap thanks to family and friends. But I can’t speak to everyone who’ll be interested in my books, so reviews are the next best thing.
The more reviews a book has on launch day, the more likely it is that people will buy it. I want as many people as possible to read my books and my advance team’s reviews help with that – a lot.
So if you’d like to get your hands on a free book, help the book reach more readers and make me very happy, please click the link below and I’ll add you to my advance team.
I’ll send you a digital copy of the book when it’s ready and then I’d be grateful if you could read and review it in time for the launch – I’ll email you when that rolls around.
